Learn more about the planets as we study them in Science class. We are just about finished with our planet unit. The test will be on Thursday, April 6th.
After that, we will begin a Social Studies unit, then finish up the school year with a Science unit on plants and how things grow. |

MATH SKILLS We have been studying subtraction with regrouping. Practice, practice, practice! We have started learning simple multiplication problems. Now we know how to multiply by 10. Today, we learned how to multiply by 100! They did an AWESOME JOB!!! |

CURSIVE We have learned all of the lower-case alphabet. Now we will write all of our work in CURSIVE!!! Now we have started learning the capital letters. It won't be long before everyone can write their whole name in cursive! Parents -- please help your child practice cursive at home. Learning cursive can be quite difficult and the more practice they have the better.

AR The number of Challenge points needed for the 4th quarter is 15!! Start reading!! The Challenge reward will be a pizza party! Everyone is off to a great start for the 4th quarter. They are reading and taking lots of AR tests. GREAT JOB!!! |
