Spring is here!

Have you seen our red tulips out front?  We planted them as a part of Red Ribbon Week last fall as our pledge to live our lives without drugs.

Word of the week: verbatim - word for word

Grandma repeated what her mother had told her verbatim.

This Week's

A little about Mrs. Mendenhall  - I grew up in the Palestine School System and graduated from PHS in 1984.  After graduating from Vincennes University in 1986, I married Scott, who was in the U.S. Air Force, stationed in New Mexico.  I graduated from New Mexico State University, Las Cruces in 1989.  I substituted in the Alamogordo Schools for about 3 years before our family's transfer to Offutt AFB, Nebraska.  After spending 5 years in Nebraska, we were transferred to RAF Lakenheath, England, where we spent the next 4 years of Scott's military career.  After that tour of duty we were transferred to Cannon AFB, New Mexico, where I began substitute teaching again and then taught full-time for 3 years before returning "home" upon Scott's retirement.  This is my 5th year teaching math at PGS.

Scott and I have four children: Katherine - a sophomore at St. Mary-of-the-Woods College, Ben & Jon - twins who are seniors at PHS, and Rebecca - a 6th grader at PGS.

Tests this week!

Wednesday - PreAlgebra

If not satisfied with your grade, are you doing your corrections and turning them in?

Students may do corrections on any assignment or test and they may even ask for help!

I will offer tutoring by appointment for my math students!
