AR Important Dates:

Wed., Sep. 23, 2009 - Midterm

Fri., Oct. 23, 2009 - Last day to test for 1st Quarter grades

 

 

AR Rules:

1.  A student may take two AR tests daily.  Any additional tests will be deleted.

2.  Students in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades may read and test on any book they desire.  First grade students should begin with red dots and move up to a higher level when his/her accuracy rate is consistently above 95%.

3.  Fourth grade students should read and test on books at the 2.0 (blue dot) level.

4.  Fifth grade students should read and test on books at the 3.0 (green dot) level. 

5.  Students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades may read and test on books at or above the 4.0 (yellow dot) level, but may not test on .5 point books.

6.  Students may not test on books that have been read aloud in class by a teacher.

7.  If a student tests on an AR book that is not appropriate for his/her level, it will be deleted from their AR record.

8.  If a student is caught cheating on a test or gives others testing information, the test will automatically be deleted from his/her AR record.
