WALL of HONOR
October 2007
Ms. Tina Groff,
Student Teacher, 1st Grade
Ms. Groff has become a part of our teaching staff at Palestine Grade School this fall as she prepares to become a certified elementary teacher. With Mrs. Tamra Kidwell as her mentor, Tina has excelled working with our first grade students. Once again we are blessed with an outstanding teacher candidate that we wish we could keep. This young lady fits in so well with our staff and consistently demonstrates her willingness to go above and beyond what is expected of her. We will miss her second semester and Mrs. Kidwell has expressed that we need to keep her if at all possible. Thank you for being here, Tina! You are an excellent teacher!
Ms. Jennifer McCoy,
Student Teacher, 4th Grade
Ms. Jennifer McCoy comes to us as a Robinson native to student teach under the sure guidance of Mrs. Phyllis Adams. Ms. McCoy is the 6th student teacher that Mrs. Adams has mentored. What a tribute to Mrs. Adams that such confidence is placed in her capabilities as a teacher of teachers! Ms. McCoy has proven to be an asset to our learning community with her calm teaching demeanor. She is a very capable classroom manager and our children respond very well to her instructional style. Jennifer is an active participant in extra duty responsibilities and recently worked with our other student teacher, Tina Groff, in preparing games for our Pioneer Family Reading Night. Jennifer, we are so glad to have you with us and do not want to see you leave us. Your work ethic and your teaching capabilities demonstrate your excellence as a teacher. Thank you for joining our educational team!
