The school year is moving right along and the end of the first semester is fast approaching.  Midterm reports for the second quarter have already been sent home.  Students are now looking forward to the beginning of the Christmas break.  Christmas break begins on December 22, at 2:10.  Students will return back to school for classes on January 5th, 2010.  The first  semester will end on January 15th.   The high school will have finals on January 13th and 14th.  School will dismiss on those days at 2:00.  Students will take finals for classes 1-4 on Wednesday and then will take finals for classes 6-9 on Thursday.  The school day Friday will be a 1:45 dismissal for teachers to work on semester grades.  Palestine High School will then start the second semester on January 19th.  Students are out of school on the 18th for Martin Luther King.
