We are proud to announce that Palestine High School has earned an Academic Improvement Award from the State Board of Education.  The award is given in recognition of the improvement in state test scores over the past three years.  Of the over 500 high schools in Illinois, only 14 qualified to receive this award.  Mr. Sornberger and the faculty of PHS are recognized for their efforts to make Palestine a place where every student is educated to the best of his/her ability.

More Good News! 

Our District has received the highest rating of financial strength, Financial Recognition, awarded by ISBE.  This is for the budget year of 2007-2008.  Our score of 3.60 on a 4.0 scale places us in the top category.
