You are welcome to each and every meeting.

What is PTO?
The PTO is an organization formed to help Palestine Grade school promote interest in the school, improve communication between parents and teachers, to raise funds for needed equipment and to foster pride in the school.

What does PTO do?
The PTO helps the school in many ways. The fund raisers held by the PTO provide funds for some school activities as well as the Easter egg hunt, the 3rd-4th-5th grade spring activities, the yearbook, AR awards, field trips and various classroom needs. Many other projects are sponsored throughout the year.

What has PTO done lately?
Look around and you will notice the new playground equipment, the new school sign, new blinds, AR awards, sponsorship of the yearbook, new cafeteria tables and a new playground shelter/outdoor classroom. Physical education equipment is purchased with the Campbell soup labels the students collect.

Who can be a PTO member?
Anyone who resides in or teaches in the Community Unit #3 school district may become a member. There are no membership fees.

What is PTO planning for this year?
Numerous items have been discussed as projects for this school year and we would appreciate your input.

When are the meetings?
The meetings are generally held the first Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the PGS library.
